This was an interesting project, to do Renoir's The Boatsman's Party in a large size for a large home viewing space. The owners might be moving in a year or two, so instead of painting on the wall as usual with most murals, we decided the paint on canvas frame and use the texture to match the texture and feel of the Renoir original and enable the owners to take the picture with them. |
